John and his dogs have been featured in programing and publications including Gun Dog Magazine and shows including: "American Gun Dog", "Cowboys", and "Modern Shooter". His tradition of 40 plus years of training all breeds gun dogs has been passed on to his family and eldest son Shawn. Cultivating a reputation of sound performing dogs and fun and professional guiding in Colorado and Oklahoma, Shawn continues the legacy as a lead guide for Quail Run in Oklahoma.
